What can I say? With a little help from Kimberley I finally took a leap and decided to buy a Mac. I have always been a fan and really liked the concept, sadly not the price. I then opted for one and have had it for just over a month now and can happily say its been a decision I will never look back on and I mean look how beautiful it looks.

Just giving everyone an update on how my University life is getting on.

Maths: Well I scored a disappointing 7/12 which is above pass rate by some distance, but not neccesarily something to be content with, I blame it to my lack of revision and understanding of logic operations.

Biometrics I got a Grade B in which is a very good grade but again something I am not particularly happy with, I blame it on the negative marking which was in place on the exam, I blame myself for answering every question.

Introduction to Software Development Marks yet to be released for my group on this one but I have high hopes, but I will update when I have the confirmed mark. 93%

Towards The End Of The Week…

Well that’s my Thursday pretty much planned, after the mass of lectures and practicals, the reason I go home?

Well I have the most amazing person in the world waiting for me at home, You could say The Love of my Life. I intend to have an amazing weekend with Kimberley before making the trek all the way back up to University, What a Life! but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Well today happened to be my first exam as stated, Introduction to software development, for those of you who didn’t know.

How well did I do?

Quite simply you couldn’t fail the exam, imagine an exam which gave you 5 marks for circling a piece of code, that was my exam. I may have had to do the portfolio during my tutorials so therefore it actually encapsulated my portfolio as part of the assesment, overall I did great, Oh and the odd few questions which actually required me to write some sort of code along the lines of.

As of now what am I doing?

Just looking out the window at the free sport, as I don't own a tv licence, and the limitation being I didn't bring my tv, iPlayer!

Lately I have been doing a lot of thinking to myself, did I make the right choice in choosing my course.. as the title may say its a parody on the amount of programming work, I seem to be battling through I am actually doing the latter (Forensic Computing)

I never really knew what I wanted to do when coming to University just felt I was prodded towards making some sort of uneducated guess as to what I feel I could do for the rest of my life, was it Forensic Computing? Well I wouldn’t know as of yet, Have not even touched the subject.

Maybe all the fun I am having playing around with Fingerprint readers and Iris Scanners is somewhat sugarcoating my experience at University.

Here is my train just pulling into Stafford not far to go! Wolverhampton, Birmingham New Street, Birmingham International, Coventry, Leamington Spa, Banbury, Oxford, Reading, Basingstoke… Oh and then a change here to Overton, Whitchurch, Andover!
